Over the last year or so, I’ve been gathering a list of links I’ve ran across online. The links range in theme, with articles and videos on Black liberation, alternative news sources, anarchism, creepy shit, cultural studies, fascism, Trans* liberation, U.S. imperialism, Marxism, nuclear catastrophe, environmental radicalism, radical jurisprudence, transformative organizing, veganism and how Slavoj Zizek aint shit.

It was a bright and sunny morning long ago. I woke up, wiped the crust out my eyes, and regrettably reached for my phone, only to find this picture on my twitter feed. Between that, this, and this, ya’ll knew DeRay was about to get a note.
A few days ago, folks seemingly anointed by state-run media as leaders of #BlackLivesMatter released a set of policy recommendations that are ostensibly aimed at addressing police violence. The stated goals of this campaign are to “live in a world where the police don’t kill people by limiting police interventions, improving community interactions and ensuring accountability.” To me, Campaign Zero actually seems to be a non-radical political formation built on a mixture of liberal compromise, neoliberal opportunism and conservative bullshit.
